Recital Postponed

Dear students and parents,

I had planned on holding a recital this Saturday, but so few people will be able to make it that I have decided to move it to Saturday, October 27 at 3 PM. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!

Shinichi Suzuki

Shinichi Suzuki was a master violin teacher. He developed a music pedagogy method that is meant to not only develop good musicians, but also beautiful character. Here are some things he had to say about his work.

“Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”
